Alliteration

Hi all, today I am going to talk about the power of using alliteration in your writing.

This is for all writers.

Alliteration is a really powerful tool. Alliteration is when you create a sentence, etc that all starts with the same first letter, or mostly.

That was so confusing so...

EXAMPLE: The great garden was gorgeously grand.

That was a terrible example! But it shows a point, so...

Moving on.

When you use alliteration, especially in poetry, your words sound very smooth. But the thing is, it is so powerful that if you use it too much, your piece starts to sound like a random rhyming book, and it gets really annoying. So be sure to use it wisely, and make sure it is at a time where you can be sure that people will appreciate it.

Alliteration helps your writing to sound more professional, and also create a better piece.
