Writing Journals

What do you write in writing journals? Well, let's take a tour in mine. So first, I have my many many ideas section. I have a whole group dedicated to my various novel ideas. Then I have character name ideas. That has a section for both girls and boys. Then I have a ton of poems, which is weird because I don't like to read or write poetry... Afterward, I have my main novel I'm working on and everything all laid out and all. Characters, quotes, ideas, outlines, everything. Then I have some excerpts from novels or short stories that I want to write. So yeah. Anyways, what is a writing journal and why should you use it? Writing journals are notebooks of any kind where writers write their ideas, feelings, quotes, excerpts, etc. Of course, no writing journal is the same as another so I could be wrong. You should use a writing journal if you want to be able to store all of your ideas and writing quirks in one place. It's a good place to write something down
